Royal Norfolk and King's Lynn

With an almost thousand years of royal history, this destination exudes majesty, from stately homes to the largest estuarial system in the UK. Gingerbread Carr stone villages and vibrant market towns are welcoming and down to earth. Discover Royal Sandringham House and Gardens, Palladian Holkham Hall, and Houghton Hall, the home of Britain’s first prime minister and now with a focus on modern art installations. The Wash is the largest natural bay in England, and one of the most important conservation areas in Europe, with several nature reserves including RSPB Snettisham where murmurations are one of the UK’s great wildlife sights. Riverside King’s Lynn has more Graded buildings than any other town in the UK – and it’s from here that King John lost the Crown Jewels.
